Effectively, yes. Everyone takes a 'core' test, then you take a supplemental test for the type of licence that you want. The thirty-five test questions are 25 general ones and 10 specific to the licence type (class 1 = car/truck, class 6 = motorcycle).
You can do all the prep online but the actual tests themselves are scratch-off pieces of paper. You can buy sample scratch tests, for car/truck and motorcycle tests, and your 'real' test will in fact be identical to one of the sample scratch tests.
