Default Survey - How Much Did Your Medicals Cost?

I was looking at MattA's post about the cheapest medicals in Sussex.

    http://www.emigratenz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=11704

I thought it would be useful if everyone could post how much they paid for their medicals so people can compare in the style of Which/Consumer's Association where the best deals are being offered and what a reasonble cost is (and what a rip-off cost is).

So how much did you pay?

Mine were about £350 just for me (for all the tests and x-rays), but I had them done in Harley Street as it was closest to where I live. I could probably have got them cheaper if I had travelled a bit further.

Our medicals cost £240 per adult and £80 per child - we used a normal GP practice in Dundee listed by the NZI. This included chest xray which had to be done at a private hospital in Dundee.

£300 for everything for one adult in London. When I called, I got an appt for two days later.

The doctor took about 15 seconds, cracked two jokes and sent me on my way. I went back two weeks later to pick up the results, that took 5 seconds and no jokes.

I guess this is indeed pretty easy money for them!
