If you use Google StreetView, you can have a virtual look around almost all of NZ - it's possible to e.g. 'walk to work' from an area you may be thinking of living in, to see what the district, roads, paths, etc., are like, or to turn right around in a shopping street, to see the kind of businesses that are there.
Thanks for sharing the info guys. All I know was to use Google Maps. Now, Google Streetview. Cool!
