Default What is cheap in NZ?

There are countless threads moaning about how 'abc' and 'xyz' is so expensive compared to another country.

This question is highly dependent on where you are now and where you come from, but "What is cheap in NZ?"

    Car insurance.

I think I asked three times if she was sure that was the quote for the whole year.

If you come from the UK Fuel is cheaper. I love filling the car these days!
I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly,
I'll do what it takes until I touch the sky

Oh yes, I agree with the monkey about clubs- for kids and adults! Year at a decent tennis club for an adult: $180. Term of 40min swimming lessons for a kid (so ten lessons) in a clean outdoor pool with a ratio of about 4/5 to 1 adult who is IN the water with the kids: $90.

Outdoor swimming pools: $2 for kids, $3 for adults or $120 family season ticket (which I thought pricey after paying $90 in another NZ town).

Chicken wings (if you know where to buy). I'm in Christchurch and I pay $4.99/kg everyday special for better than Mad Butcher quality.
