    Default Finally here

We arrived last week and are now staying with a friend in Onehunga enjoying the sunshine! (not missing the snow hitting South Wales where we were living).

Thanks to all of the posters on the forum. We haven't participated much but we have got a lot of useful information from others' enquires and replies. Keep 'em coming!

Crossed fingers for our job search,

    Woo hoo!

Great move - hope you can settle and get what you need in NZ

It's freezin here in the UK and I think those in power (not sure who they are) but they are trying to turn all our lights out - so enjoy the light and sunshine in NZ

Have a great time. Would love to hear your experience/impression of NZ compared to UK when you have had time to settle and compare.

Congratulations, and all the best for the next stage.

And yes, it would be good to know how you're getting on.

We've got a visit to the NZ family coming up soon, and because of what we've got here (freezing, and the earliest snowfall in the UK for 17 years) I find myself continually thinking of packing winter woollies, when the daytime temperatures in Auckland when we get there are likely to be in the mid 20s!

    Welcome

Hi there, what a coincidence I grew up in Cwmbran, many moons ago . . . .
I emigrated October to the Coromandel, from The Brecon Beacons.
All the best, let us know how you get on.
