Approved!!
Our SMC application was approved today and we cant express how happy we are.
Our application took exactly one year after we started filling up our EOI and we think this is probably the most delayed application in London branch (with no issues in medical etc).
We submitted ITA during Aug'10. CO was assigned in Oct'10 and finally had interview on 15/03/2011 and its approved today (18/03/2011).
We should admit that we were the reason for this delay and NZ London branch were the most helpful immigration people we have ever dealt with (we have experience dealing with USCIS and UK Border Agency earlier). We submitted our application when we were in UK and then later myself and OH had to travel to two different countries due to work commitments. So there we were, not in our home country, not in the country where we submitted our application and most importantly not together in the same country. I assume this gave some hard time to the CO but we happily provided all the evidence he asked for and its all worth in the end
