Got Level 6 ??

hello everyone

I did my B.sc (IT) in Distance education mode. today i got PAR Result from NZQA they accessed me under level 6 ???

But i need level 7 to claim qualification points under ICT professionals ! plz anybody suggest me wht i have to do in this situation its really dispersed me

go to IQA and provide as much evidence as you can get, also you can mention your query in the cover letter to IQA that you are looking for level7 because so and so

What was the length of your BSc program? In my case, my three-year (6 Semesters) B.Sc got a level 7. But it was on campus.

I hold Bachelor Degree in Computer engineering - Hardware engineering major (48 Month of full time study) with 4 years of experience in Computer networks (Microsoft, Cisco, ...). But my result form NZQA was Level 6. They said that I can request a review for any error. How can I change the results? Which evidence is needed to send for changing the results?

I will also suggest that go for IQA. I got a level 7 for my Master degree in PAR but level 8 in IQA. They consider lots of factors in IQA so it seems like a better option.

Unfortunately Level 6 is result of IQA. I want to request a review. I want to know how can I change this results and which evidence is more efficient for changing the results?

I'm sorry nobody with knowledge of your industry seems to know how to help you.

From what I've seen of other people's dealings with NZQA, they seem to be comparing the foreign qualification with ones available in NZ, in order to assign a Level. Can you perhaps find details of a course taught in NZ which gives a Level 7 qualification, and try comparing the different parts of it with what you did yourself? I'm sorry, this is necessarily vague, as I'm only going by hearsay.

I think you should go for IQA. I had the same experience as Pakiboy.
My wife's PAR was level 5 but when we did the IQA, we got level 6.

Make your efforts in getting all the documents they require like full curriculum and experience/recommendation/ reference letter from your employers.

Notice, he says he DID go for IQA. In post number 6 above, he says this.

Unfortunately Level 6 is result of IQA.

The result, a Level 6, is what he has now been invited to challenge. He needs help in how to do this.
