i use overplay and a friend uses strongvpn.

overplay is cheaper per month but strongvpn has better 1 year deals.
both work seamlessly with iplayer or netflix or whatever.

I had no luck with freebie proxies like expat shield - just too slow. Fine if you just what some books from bookdepository or something but not for streaming.

Hi, TVProxy is a good one, I think it is about 85 ish pounds for the year, I have used it in Europe and it is fine and they state that NZ is one of the countires they have tested it with.

When I get to NZ (29 days before we leave) I will probably use TVProxy too.

    Thanks

great to use one of these services but how do you afford the bandwidth at this end with the lack of unlimited boradband data providers and miniscule data caps?

I only use it for one or two programmes and it's not that bad. Im with Vodafone on their Ultimate package and with a 'double your data' pack I think it gives us about 60Gb, which is plenty for what we are using it for.
