    Default London branch processing times.

It's been 2 months since our CO was assigned but there isn't anything new from her. The last thing that she said almost 2 months ago was that our application is undergoing a verification. Is anyone familiar with the processing times at the London branch and how long this verification might take?

Was your ITA submitted with or without a job offer? Those with job offers are prioritised and take between 1-3 months, those without take longer. The attached link gives estimates of processing times for the London Branch.

Please use Search on the blue bar above for 'verification'. There have been many previous threads giving details of the processes covered when INZ says they are verifying.

This is from the link that you gave:
Your immigration officer will be in touch within ten working days from the date of allocation and will generally take between one and three months to make a final decision on your application.
As I see it, it is 1 to 3 months after you have a CO assigned. The job offer only speeds the process of obtaining a CO and not the processing time after you have one.

I wrote to the CO about a week ago asking about the status of our application and a possible time frame of it's processing but we still don't have a response. I am beginning to get worried and I don't know what to do know. Can anyone help with an advice?

PS: Maybe I am too impatient but this is my nature.

It can be frustrating but the only thing you can do is wait. I'm sure your CO will contact you as soon as he/she has more information on the next step. Remember, the 1-3 months processing time is just an estimate and individual applications may take longer.

You are admitting you KNOW you are impatient. This is not going to influence INZ in any particular at all - except that I know of one former forum member who got a warning letter from the office manager not to keep hassling his staff - so you will only be upsetting your own feelings by giving way to it.
