Thanks for your reply.
Yep. Tried that.
They provided an email address "parentresidence@mbie.govt.nz" in the ITA. I contacted that but received an autoreply saying "PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS INBOX IS NOT ACTIVELY MONITORED OUTSIDE OF EOI DRAW TIMES".
So, i am not sure if my request will be looked at?
Do you know who should i contact?
Thanks
Just an update, I have received an email confirming that the name has now been corrected. They have also sent an revised ITA.
So....all good now. It was easier and quicker than i thought it would be.
Don't remember the exact date, but in early july.
Yes, very fortunate to have received it. My father is now trying to learn English to save ESOL fees for around $7k
Good for him - hope he has a good teacher and manages well.
Sharing the timeline here:
July 2023: Applied for EOI
10 Sep 2023: EOI got selected in the ballot (very lucky) and received the ITA.
23 Dec 2023: Couriered all the documents via NZ Post
16 Jan 2024: Fees got deducted.
The wait could be up to 11 Months. So...waiting patiently and hoping for the best!
Hi everyone,
Sharing my parent application timeline:
Aug 2023: Submitted EOI
16 Feb 2024: EOI got selected from the ballot and received ITA via email.
Preparing the documents, one question please in the ITA, the letter requires "Evidence you (my parents) meet the English language requirements". My parents come from a country which do not speak English, but they happy to pay the tution fees, INZ website only mentions they will need to pay maximum amount for English course but doesn't state the exact number, could any one provide a rough number about the fee, then how much is the maximum? eg 7k each?
Thanks all
