Hi guys,
Is there any update for citizenship approval email in March 2024?
I'm going to apply on late April and would like to get information about online application
Many thanks
I have prepared the following documents:
Birth certificate and passports
My wife and I got our resident visa base on SMC and provided evidence of English test when we applied for our resident visa, do we need to provide any further evidence to prove our English knowledge?
Other question is how does automatic check work? I'm going to apply exactly the day after my 240 days of 5 years will complete and will check after getting green response from online calculator.
we don't have any police check issues or traffics tickets.
Is there any other things that cause delay or failed in automatic checks?
I applied last week, Monday 11th March, so I'll keep you updated!
I applied of the 2nd of January this year. No news so far. I'm afraid I might have ended up in the slow lane...
Thanks for update
I applied on 15/02/24 online, and got citizenship approval on 18/03/24. Was really lucky getting passed the automatic check. Now waiting for the ceremony email.
Congratulation.
Would you like to share some information about your application?
like did you applied solo or in family group?
It seems your application meet all automatic checks and went to workstream 3.
I really apprenticed if you kindly update us about documents you uploaded and your resident visa category and if you did anything's to help your application meet all checks done.
Thank you. I applied online and have only submitted the required documents; I haven't included any additional ones, particularly language-related ones (English is not my native language though but I speak daily). I obtained my residency through SMC.
It seems that the preparation of the citizenship application might not significantly impact the outcome. What truly matters is one's overall conduct during their time living in NZ.
