According to Crockers Property in July 2014, Aucklanders are paying around $140 a week more to live in a three bedroomed rental property compared to the rest of New Zealand and $70 a week more to live in a two bedroomed rental property.

From the selection displayed, the Tenancy Services Division figures show that in Auckland Central the most expensive average rent for a two bedroomed house is in Parnell at $650 a week. The cheapest is in Otahuhu at $350 per week.

For a three bedroomed house in Auckland Central the most expensive average rent is in Parnell at $770 per week and the cheapest is in Otahuhu at $400 per week.
