my partner is under partnership work visa now because I study here full-time. I'd like to know what type of job offer he should look for. Because our purpose is applying skilled immigration visa to be able to live here. He has a bachelor on computer science. Cheers
If you intend applying with your partner as the Primary Applicant, he will need a job which is relevant to his degree and previous work experience. It needs to be for at least 30 hours a week, preferably permanent and at a fair salary for that job in NZ. While he is looking for that ideal job, he can of course work in any occupation for any employer - or even do voluntary work. The more people you both get to know, the more contacts, the more likely he is to hear of a job and get a chance.
