Anyone on a work visa that is for 24 months at least, and any Resident, has the right to use the NZ health service on the same terms as NZ nationals.
And after three years as a Resident living in the country, a student loan from the government is available. (Residents are eligible for domestic rate fees straight away, but their funding is up to them.)

Yes, that covers you. Also, if you have family accompanying you on visas matching yours for length of time, it will be the same for them.
