Preparing for disasters

Is the official government link on what you need in the event of disaster. It has probably been mentioned on here a few times, but just thought, in light of recent events, a reminder might be useful.

Spent this afternoon refreshing water and have bought new baby wipes. Experience has shown me power is not important but water is!

Be prepared, for at least three days. In an emergency the responsibility is yours, not civil defence or the council to look after yourself in the immediate aftermath. There are too many people in too many locations for this to be resourced.
