That might depend on many things, such as whether running costs are included in the allowance? As a base, some might value a car as a minimum of $12K in a salary package or mileage rates at typically 77c /km?
At the moment I have a company car and every cost is paid by the company. To be fair sometimes I put petrol if I use it a lot over long weekends. Since the salary base will be pretty much the same I want to be sure I get the right allowance instead the company car.
