I don't remember anyone giving large amounts of detail on this, but here are the old threads that mention joining the NZ army to be looking at, while hoping that anyone with more recent details to share will be along shortly.
We didn't go through this process but my husband is ex-RAF (he left about 13 years ago) but he joined RNZAF nearly 2 years ago. He was considered a "re-enlister". Have you got specific questions about the process or the Defence Force?
