AIP letter received
Hi there.
Thanks god we finally received AIP letter just this afternoon.
The CO has told me to send the passports to Baijing branch to put the stickers. Can I ask him to send the stickers to Singapore INZ Branch and instead of sending Passports by post to Beijing I go to Singapore personally?
-
Very pleased for you. :nice1
I don't know, but certainly there is nothing to stop you asking him. The worst that can happen would be that he could say no, he couldn't do that.

Congratulations! That's wonderful news!

Check with your CO. We had the option of sending it to Singapore instead of Beijing in 2009. I am sure it is still possible. But please double check the processing time. It may take a few days and with that, you have to be prepared to stay in S'pore for a few days.
When we had our passport renewed last year back home in Penang, it took the NZ Immigration office in S'pore 3 days to print and stick our resident visa in our new passport. The Malaysian micro chip passport took 2 hours to be process in Penang but 3 days for te resident visa to be transfered.
Your CO will be able to give you the confirmation.
