How will the health system work will I pay to see a gp and how much are prescriptions?
My daughter is on a WHV and would have to pay top price to see a GP for routine issues.
However when you are from the UK, under the reciprocal agreement between UK & NZ, you will be okay if you need emergency care.
I would advise medical/ travel insurance :)
Once he arrives in NZ your husband can sponsor you for residence, can't he? Which would allow you to transfer your WHV to one that includes access to the health system.
