Default what is General rules before you sign job offer

    Hi,

Some one please advice me what is normal facility companies
provide when you sign any job offer contract from overseas
and when you are in New Zealand.

Once You join from overseas do companies provide

    1) Ticket for you and your dependant.
    2) Health insurance for you and dependant.
    3) How many yearly leave normal in new Zealand ?
    4) Any annual bonus.
    5) Do they provide complete package which include housing, transportation.
    6) work permit processing fees and other related charges.
    7) relocation cost and related expenses.
    8) yearly ticket.
    9) when you join from overseas initial accommodation and transportation.

and if you are in new zealand and you signed any job offer
then what is not included, what I have mentioned above.

    Regards

A brief look through the Department of Labour's minimum requirements will answer a few of your questions.

    http://www.ers.dol.govt.nz/relationships/minimum.html

Basically, you are entitled to four weeks paid annual leave and to be paid the salary you agreed upon. Quite honestly if you get anything more than the minimum of benefits in NZ then you are doing well and a lot will depend on the type of job you do and the demand for your skills. You would need to be in a very specialised industry or profession to get any kind of relocation package that includes visa costs, flights, accommodation, shipping etc and there would usually be some proviso that you pay the costs back if you left the job before completing two years of service.

If you don't ask you don't get. If you do ask, you still may not get, but do it in the right way and there's nothing lost.

All of the above seem to be extras. Honestly, nowhere in the world those are provided as part of the package unless you are an outstanding professional going to an obscure underdeveloped country or a senior manager relocating to manage your company's branch overseas.

Without knowing what you do, it's impossible to assume what extras you could anticipate.

As I said above, the minimum you can expect is to be paid the basic salary you agreed upon, plus your four weeks annual leave entitlement. I omitted to state that for most this will also be the maximum that they will get. Anything extra to that will be by negotiation between you and the employer. If you are an exceptional case, with exceptional skills or talents that can command some additional perks then you can aim higher bt you can also expect to be disappointed. Jobs here like my own, which in the UK typically came with mobile phone, company car, petrol and a parking space, plus pension and healthcare packages are seldom seen here.

If you are surgeon or Senior Medical officer then I guess you can call the shots and can demand pretty much whatever you like.
