Contacted ECS and they will ship frozen stuff so you don't only need to live in Auckland to get some!

Most Quorn products (exported from the UK) cost AU$6 (just under NZ$8) in Sydney. It will be interesting to see what price they come up with in Wellington.

They are based in Auckland I think, most things seem to be about $7, they have a price list you can find here http://www.theenglishcornershop.co.nz/frozens.htm

They will ship to anywhere but the proviso is it must go to a work address as it's frozen and they use a cartage company, not a courier.

Can you get bisto? Stick in a spoon of marmite (vegemite?)half a spoon of wholegrain mustard and some dried onions.

The standard Rich Brown Bistow powder is meat free.

Thanks so much for the link - most of the products are cheaper through that site than the NZ stuff is in the supermarket. Though I've just got my own sausage recipe right and can make 24 sausages for $6 now, but certainly will suprise the hubby with a Quorn roast now and again!

How are you making your sausages? I'm going to really miss the dried sausage and burger mixes from Asda - I'm fairly sure they are the granose ones, and they are so handy. We are trying to adapt before we get there, I bought a huge slow cooker and made a lentil curry yesterday which was a big success. You can get Quorn sausages for a pound a bag here, but with six of us they will be a rare treat in NZ.
