Does anyone buy these at all? Some look good value, but some of packaging looks decidedly dodgy....any recommendations please?

We have bought them on occasion, but have no recommendations. I did like that many people seemed to call the boxed wine "Chateau-cardboard". Mark.
Dont buy the "medium/dry white/red wine" boxes, they taste a bit like antifreeze...
However if you go for a slightly more expensive single variety wine box, like the Chard or the Sav B, you should be OK. Hubby drinks the Banrock Staion Merlot out of the box and did not notice a great deal of difference.
We saw a wine in Pack n Save that didn't even have the box, just a plastic bag with white wine in it. We weren't at all tempted to buy it, it looked like a colostomy bag

Have tried a few but not impressed enough to continue buying them - stick to the bottles or bung a few boxes in the garage to bring out once everyone is too bladdered to notice
Banrock Station is OK-good.
Everything else - avoid.
Thanks all, very enlightening!

My friends up the road from you (mellons Bay) buy the medium white in a cream and gold box from foodtown cant remember what make but it is quite nice and I dont drink white as I find it too acidic. They swear by it,but then hey! anything alcoholic is fine by them
