I was a big Godiva truffle fan in the states.. but have become a slave to the much cheaper and less attractive (but extemely yummy) Picnic Bar in NZ. "Deliciously ugly!" as the ad says!! Well, at least I'll have more cash left over.

Tia, try Nestle Heaven bars, the Chocolate truffle one, tastes pretty much like Galaxy to me.... there is also a sweet shop down at Botany that sells real Galaxy (bit far for you though!)

Have to say I HATED the Cadbury Chocolate over here when I first came out, but now I prefer it. I have a friend In UK who I send over the different range of Cadburys we get here and she also prefers it to English Cadburys !

Still, I think it's just a case of what you get used to .....

Mmmmm Galaxy ! Yum ! Forgot all about that !! Think friend is going to have to start trading with me !!

This is from a north american.. English chocolates are the best in the world. No one beats their chocs, their biscuits and scones and cream and.....you get the drift. North Americans wouldn't know good chocolate even if bit them in the A&$.

got lots of interesting flavours here in the cadburys but for straight chocolate I prefer the whitakers. thats coming from an avid UK cadburys fan.

i'm with veronica on whitakers. i eat chocolate very rarely indeed and i tend to be very picky about it. whitakers peanut slab wins hands down.
