    Default S&V ('supermarket-brand') electronics?

    Quickie:

does anyone own any S&V-brand electronics (boom box, DVD player, etc.) ?

This is the inexpensive brand that is usually on sale at Woolworth's and other supermarkets.

We're thinking of buying one or two of their products, and were just curious as to anyone else's experiences with S&V.

    Thanks.

got 2 14" tvs, there a year old now, I haven't bought any Brand type electrics other than the hi-fi which is sony - this was on special, but we have another non-branded one that was Jordons.

Our LCD tv is an AOC and was $1,000 cheaper than a Branded one - its just as good as our old Phillips

Just found this link for some S&V DVD players

    http://www.murraymoffatt.com/other-s-and-v-dvd.html

It does give a little bit of explanation as to who are S&V, and also provides some region unlock codes, so maybe useful to some of you who have UK (Region 2) DVDs and also NZ (region 4)?
