Nope - don't mind at all!

Obviously, the 'Emigrating bits' are from the UK, you may be able to convince some of the other forum member to post costs from other countries, for a more comprehensive entry.

    Cheers

Just to keep it updated, these are a couple of out latest costs from the UK.
    ITA is still £685
Migrant levy for SMC is £115 each (max £460 per family)
Child flights seem about 3/4 of the adult fare, but varies a bit.
Our medicals are £700 for family of 5. Adult £200 + £60 xray, kids £60 each.

Storage space for the contents of an average 3 bedroom house - £250 a month with Easistore, Surrey & Sussex.

I agree with rusty, kids flights are about 3/4 that of an adult fare. Also, remember most airlines now charge an adult fare for kids over 12.

    Me again, again having probs..........

Dr $22 consultation, $25 after hrs consultation (but at same Health Centre only)

You pay for costs like pregnancy tests (no i am not in the family way - wish i was!!), pill jabs(birth control), etc

Prescriptions vary - antibiotics vary from $3 - $12, some meds are fairly cheap, others quite pricey

Dentist - hubby paid $120 for an extraction and one xray today!!!

Lodging partnership application: £420 - what exactly is this for and when is it needed? Is it a requirement for all partners of married persons when going through SMC, EOI?
