Default List number two - What do you recommend to take in your suitcases

The next list I thought I'd compile is:

What did you pack, or wished you had packed? not in an extra box, just what can go in your suitcase(s)

Obviously you pack jamas, toothpaste and clothes but as you don't see your container for a few weeks - what else?

    I was thinking:

    duvet covers for the boys
    few toys
    tuperware boxes for lunch boxes
    food bags/clips
favourite mug (may break, but a comfort to hug when stressed)

Please add to list as there are things that I just wouldn't think of until too late
    Thanks

    Mels

OH & I were discussing this today too. We also had:

    Hairdryer
    Multi - sockets
    Air beds & pump
    Towels & Tea towels
    Alarm clocks
    Pillows (if space allows)

    Any more suggestions?

There was a thread about this by Marcia, I think, just before she was arriving, but I can't find it, sorry. I can, however, remember advising her to bring dressing gowns, and would say same to you guys if you are arriving anytime that is not high summer.

We're going with suitcases, a few extra bags, and two boxes that we will post to ourselves.

Clothes, books, toiletries, computers, guitars, etc.

Just 'cos whenever I need one I can't find one. They belong in the 'I can only find one sock' category!!!

But useful to know they are readily available thanks.
Hopefully we will be arriving by June so dressing gown definately on list as are slippers.
