THe form you have to fill in on the plane is on the MAF/biosecurity site somewhere. If I find it I will put the link in as I need it too.

As Mels said, they'll give you an arrival form to complete on the plane. This one:

Question 3 asks if you have any food - so just tick the YES box (well circle). Chocolate and sweets are usually fine to bring in, so you shouldn't have any problems if you declare it.

Yes, you can bring it, in fact you are only allowed to bring Galaxy chocolate,(all forms acceptable), and you must bring it to Devonport, where you will leave it at a designated spot. Its funny the Kiwis do it that way, but they are the rules, sorry!

    Cheers

It's a funny thing but the biggest impresson I get from this forum is that it is populated by a large bunch of friendly people who love chocolate, cheesecake and wine.

Yes, chocalate should be allowed, though the NZ chocolate isn't that bad. The cheese selection is no where near as good though, Edam, Mild, Coldby and Tasty (?) are the main staples. Others are available but at a price.

Why do you think we all moved here - not for the weather, better for kids nonsense
