I also had some abnormalities that are caused by allergies....very common and as long as Dr notes down allergies on medical forms there shouldn't be a problem.

Also, some people naturally have lower iron levels with no ill health effects (e.g. if you've been veggie for many years).....and even with extra iron in diet/supplement form your body will not absorb any more than it currently does. Of course this is not the case with anaemia.....but if your iron levels are a little below normal range it does not neccesarily mean you have a problem.

    Hi
OH has not had any test like these. His liver is OK. It is just the blood tests. OH has undergone ECG, further blood analysis, diabetes, stool test, urine tests. The blood tests indicate he has mild anaemia but his iron level is OK - just inside normal. We have ruled out ulcers. I don't know what they are looking for. Something that isn't there or that there are no symptoms.
    Regards

    Hi
Are you saying that a letter from your own Doctor regarding your treatment of taking iron tablets sorted out the problem, and that the immigration medical assessor accepted it without any further analysis of your blood? That would give me some hope if that is the case?
    Thanks
