I found some instructions on how to make the stuff.....remember seeing a malaysian friends at uni making it years ago with chickpeas, and she used to freeze it in batches.

Also the vegetarian Centre in Chch has a recipe that uses garbanzo bean flour (kofta balls), so maybe they might be able to give you some info on where to buy the stuff?

    Thanks I

I try if I get hold of mill that fix onto my mixer.....

One little problem...there is query that my daughter may be allergic to beans, not all of them, so far she is ok with Navy bean, I think, so i can use navy bean for flour for now?

There is no skin prick tests for beans, so might try get specialist look into RAST test after she is also allergic to most of legumes family anyway
    ie soybean
    peanuts
    tree nuts...

Chick Pea flour is certainly available.

The New World in Devonport sells it, and I imagine plenty of asian supermarkets.
