    Default Renewing a British Passport from NZ

    I have a child who's passport runs out in June this year and wondered if anyone knew how to renew this from here?

    Are there any extra costs involved, and do her Blue stickers automatically get re entered?

    I have done a search, but not found a step by step sort of answer (getting on a bit so need a bit of hand holding)

    Thanks

    You can do it through the embassy in Wellington but it is expensive AND they don't automatically transfer the visas (as we found out to our cost when attempting to return to NZ last May).

    Try this;

    http://ukinnewzealand.fco.gov.uk/en/...-your-passport

    NZIS transfer the blueys for $80 each

    We renewed our passports in Dec. but not transfered the blueys yet.
    (Which reminds me.)
    Easy to do.
    $321 per PP
    We were also told by the FCO in Welly that because our passports hadn't expired, as long as our appearences hadn't changed a lot then we didn't need to get the photos or forms countersigned.

    Thanks I have made a note of the details - think we need a new photo tho, as she was 12 then and now 17!
