Default Where can I get a medical in Christchurch for work permit

    Hi,

I'm still on the working holiday and I was suppose to switch to a work permit based on partnership awhile back. I still have 7 months left on my working holiday but need to switch asap so I can stop thinking about it. I need a one stop place where I can get the medical, xray etc... any recommendations? please let me know how much you paid etc.. Thank you,

Riccarton Clinic - 6 Yaldhurst road does it all - a one stop shop!

The fees I have in front of me which are a year old (we go there as our doctors so have all the fees) show:

    Immigration Medicals

Adult or child up to 70 years $180.00 (2 appointments)
    Adult over 70 $210 (2 appointments)
    Chest x-ray $77
    Standard bloods $96

    Hope that helps

    Here's a link to a post from a while ago http://www.enz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=20237

I did mine around Sept. last year and ended up going with a GP doing the forms and getting bloodwork and xrays at the two walk-in places off papanui road in merivale (near the mcdonalds). I wanted the cheapest method possible. It only took one 1/2hr visit to the docs, then another 1/2 getting xrays and blood at the walk-ins. The walk-ins sent the forms to the doc directly and then I picked everything up from the GP 5 days later.
