UK to NZ Maths & English Reqs?
I have seen a job i want to apply for with these requirements:
A level 2 NCEA pass (12 credits pass in Math at Level 1 and 8 credits in English at level 2)
Anyone know what a GCSE Grade B, GCSE English A, from UK Equates to and whether it'll be enough?
Cheers
Jon

Judging by what is on this site http://www.nzqa.govt.nz/for-learners/nzstudy/index.html (scroll down to the section about NCEA), the level 2s mentioned must be high-end GCSE passes, since they say level 3 is like A-Level.
Can't hurt to go for it, and good luck

Sorry, I'm no expert here & can't break down the difference credit values from GCSEs & NCEAs, however my son is in year 12 (1st year 6th form) & is currently studying towards NCEA level 2s....so in my mind I'm roughly equating them to AS levels, a sort of mid point qualification between GCSE & A levels.

Oh, right... I still think the OP could have a go and argue adult experience as an add-in.

That was my thinking too, exam qualifications at that level, along with schools attended, are usually for school leavers in my experience.
