    Default Learn to Swim

Hi, I am looking to learn swimming, is there any learning session with reasonable prices?

I tried the one in (Lloyd Elsmore Park) but I cannot afford it

    Thanks

Hilton Brown do adult swimming classes....there are several pools around Auckland and the classes and smaller than those at the public swimming pools.

i think all the other public pools in Manukau lessons are run by a different company, so may be worth checking the price on those too.

As a heads up adult swimming lessons will be expensive compared to children's swimming but you usually get one on one classes. Most swim coaches I know (not in Auckland) charge at least $25 an hour (they usually have to pay for lane hire out of this too).

But don't let this put you off, not only is it a vital skill to have it's also a great form of exercise.

I don't know what the prices are, but have you tried the YMCA? Looks like they have a payment scheme if that would help.

    Good luck

I checked today with the guys (lifeguards) at the Lloyd Elsmore Park, they told me that there will free training session sponsored by the manukau city council. The session will be on the 18th of Jan.
