Carol ..... fine by us ....

    Katandbob - cost us $270k

Anita & Marco .... we've bought it and the furniture (too much of it) is ours from home, the container arrived on Tuesday.

Abit of info about the house, it was relocated to this position 12 years ago. It's on a back section 1176 sq mt. Not overlooked by anybody but in the middle of the village. It's had a new roof, been insulated, brand new log burner (installed a couple of months ago), re-wired, new plumbing, warm air heating and night storage heaters too. It has 4 LARGE double bedrooms, a long wide hallway, kitchen, dining/family room, large laundry, cloakroom with loo, bathroom. New fitted carpets throughout. the garden has a 'built in' watering system along the borders and is stocked with a variety of fruit trees and dozens of rose bushes and native plants. The house also has security lights that cover every square inch of the property.

That's the thing about the Manawatu, it's off the beaten track, very rural and not at all touristy - therefore property prices can be alot lower than some of the more 'popular' areas. If you want old time NZ, quiet roads and some stunning scenery come to the Manawatu.

    Diny
