Harvey Norman in ChCh has prints for 14 cents. Likely in Auckland as well.

I am sure an Aucklander will come along in a minute!

Generally places like Warehouse, Warehouse Stationary have reasonable prices. I've seen from 11-14c being fairly normal. The Dick Smith's here has kiosks, but no idea on prices.

I've printed some at The Warehouse before for I think 24c a piece, and thought the quality is horrible! I was half-expecting a nice glossy Kodak/Fuji-style photo on heavyweight paper that smudges at every touch for that price to be honest, but what I got was a HP ink-jet printout on a thin (by photo standards) piece of paper.

I would probably get prints from a photo shop from now onwards as I really do like my photos on an old traditional over-engineered piece of paper and ink that lasts longer than I do

Did some recently at Botany's Warehouse stationery for 14c, but have done some for 11c but for over a 100 photos.

Went for Dick Smith (16c a piece). Very good quality (Fuji) and fast (within 1 hour)

You would think so with that date, wouldn't you?

It was discussed on one of the morning shows the other week and from what I can tell it was genuine Each photo that is printed has adverts printed around the edge (how they make their money). Doesn't sound so good, but these are perforated strips then can just be removed.
