Best way to ship boxes from UK?

Hi everyone, any advice would be appreciated:
I have about 8 small/medium boxes to be shipped from the UK (London) to NZ. Anyone have any experience with this and recommendations? Obviously I don't need a container but was wondering if the boxes can just be brought to a Royal Mail post office counter in the UK and shipped or if it's better to use Fed Ex?

I've seen this company http://www.parcel2go.com/ recommended, as being reliable, and cheaper to use than Royal Mail.

My friend used mailboxes.co.uk when shipping stuff home to Canada. They provided the box and gave her a price for shipping that box. She was also able to track it the entire way.

Although I love their no compensation list. Basically everything. Even funnier, they actually have that in their list:-
