Default Car tuning - neon & LED lights

    Hi,
car tuning seems to be quite common and popular here in New Zealand, however, I was wondering if blue LED parking or blue LED license plate lights are allowed, or green Neon lights under the car or in front at the grill?

Allowed by law, or by taste?

    Let's make it by law.

That taste is subject to personal view, I figure out with all those Subarus and Mitsubishis on a daily basis :-)

Actually I don't mind the lights or taped on bodykits too much, it's the dustbin exhausts that I actually have a real issue with.

    I think the rule is:

If you car is not fast, then it must look fast.

And you must fit a wastegate thingy on your turbo to make that "woosh" noise, even though that means it generates much less power than if it was tuned properly and didn't make any noise.

And... If you ever get a chance to look inside, you will notice they have some "NICE" aftermarket pedal covers for that "special" racing look.

I'm actually just a bit jealous of them because the equivalent of that when I was young was putting tassels on the bar plugs of my Raleigh chopper and the clips from bread bags on the spokes.

    I suppose this is progress

I'm also going to say sorry to the OP for not being able to answer what was a fair question.
