I must have Martinborough all wrong because it looks as though the climate is similar to Hawkes Bay with all those olive groves and vineyards!

I was just saving places for our Wellington and Surrounding trip this December. We are going to have a Road trip all the way from Auckland with stops in Taupo and Palmerston North. It was good reading this thread as I added few more places to my list.

If any other must do's left to to be mentioned, please do, It would just enhance our holiday this summer
