We enjoyed this museum very much. I sat through footage of the Waihene disaster, made me cry
Also liked the brief history of NZ rugby, just my speed.

we went there last month for $10 (for the 3 of us) so will be going back again for another look this month.

We went this week, it was a good school holiday outing, followed by lunch at Food Alley and a visit to the library = a very happy boy. His favourite things at the museum this time were the model ships, and the little movie about the NZ Customs Service - he watched it twice eyes:

The desk person didn't want to see proof of address, she only asked what part of Auckland we're from.
