Hi All,
Could anyone give me some advise on what is included in the rental price of accomodation, i.e is it just the house or are some utilities included, council tax, water and such like??
Thanks all

Council tax will be included, but utilities are down to the individual landlord - it will state in the ad whether they are included or not. In my experience generally not included.

Also I find in my area the only white ware that is usually included is a stove (and maybe a dishwasher if there is one). You often have to get your own refrigerator and washer/dryer.
Well back in Ohio and unfurnished apartment included the refrigerator, stove, a microwave, etc.
It very much depends on where you are renting- in Dunedin, for example, all the flats/ houses which are usually rented to students have got all the whiteware- washing machine, fridge, microwave.
We have now lived in four rentals since we came here and always had a dishwasher, once a fridge/ freezer.
In ChCh, we pay for electricity, phone/internet.
We provide all whiteware but the stove and dishwasher.
Water and rubbish pick up are included.
