Auckland suburbs

Hi guys,

Does anyone knows which one is the suburb of the University of Auckland?

I'm looking for accomodation and I wanna be as near as possible of the campus.

Auckland University is in Auckland (right down town).

Or did you mean AUT? It is in the Northcote suburb. I think there are satellite campuses though, aren't there?

Daniel, go to Google maps and put in 'University of Auckland NZ', and it will come up marked with an 'A'.

That is the central campus where the library is. If you are interested in a particular faculty, you could Google for its address and make sure exactly where it is.

So the reference is Albert Park. The school of English as a Second Languaje is some blocks from there... and the engineering faculty too.

As I see, Parnell, Newmarket are a good options to look for an apartment.

There is a lot of student accomodation available in that area.

You can also check with the University or your English language academy if they have something available for their enrolled students.

Parnell would be a great choice (but a bit pricey for accommodation). It is an easy and pleasant walk from there to Uni.

...there are loads of apartments near Auckland's downtown waterfront area too.

There's Auckland uni student accommodation in grafton, on Symonds St (just up from the Architecture school) on Anzac ave, in Parnell, the old railway station... Have a look here
