    Bear in mind that unless you do a huge amount of driving to different places in the city (e.g. as a delivery driver), GPS probably isn't as needed in NZ as it is in the UK etc. There's not so many roads and options of different routes, so finding your way around is much easier.

    Agree, it was a combination of the points of interest (petrol stations and campsites) and the journey time prediction (ie when aiming for ferries) that was handy. However, was very very useful in Wellington trying to get into the hotel car park opposite Te Papa.

    Yeah, and my wife struggles to navigate any where. When we moved up to Scotland I set her up in her car with 2 sat navs to bring her and children to our new home, and she still managed to get lost - by using her 'common sense' and ignoring the directions the sat navs were telling her - DUH!
