Anyone thinking of renting out their house for the RWC?

Probably not a good time to arrive as a new migrant looking for short term accommodation!

Ouch
However, I'm sure I'll find a way...she'll be right
It's almost criminal what some of those accommodations are planning on charging. My advice to anyone planning on traveling out to NZ during the RWC would be to hire a campervan or a room at a campsite - but book EARLY!
I think it'll all backfire the way things did with the Millennium celebrations in the UK with folk staying at home rather than being ripped off. On the news yesterday they said travel agents are getting inquiries about flying in and out of NZ on the same say to avoid being ripped off.
I had pals in Edinburgh who used to rent out their flats during the festival- they'd make enough to pay the rent all summer. But a bunch of drunken rugby fans would not be my ideal tenants.
Some sites for those who want to rent, or rent out, during the RWC:

Thanks Tia
