Generally they don't ask for additional tests if you have BMI under 35. Otherwise regular tests should do the trick.
I wish no one goes through the BMI grind but for an experience you can find my story here:

Hi Suniel
Don't worry I've read it thoroughly and it was a wake up call
My OHs BMI was 37.5 2 weeks ago but she is now down to 35.8 > a great effort!!
We have to return additional info to CO by 1/6/10 and are hoping with this concerted effort sub 35 is obtainable
Only 4lbs to go
I wish that we had been aware of the seriousness with which NZI regard obesity before going for medicals
Francis
That's nice Francis, just few more pounds to go. Do keep a check at home once every 3-4 days so that you don't see any surprising nos. at hospital. Do let the CO know if you need more time, they are more than accommodating.
All the best & I wish to hear much better news soon.
Dont forget the waist measurements !!!!!
Thankfully they haven't asked for waist measurements again
When we had our medicals blood sugars & lipids were fine
