tauranga schools

hi all, well 6 months to go before we hit Tauranga and can i just say WE CAN NOT WAIT
we are after some advice if i may ask.
schools (primery): we are looking at Matua, bethleham (primery and collage), pillans point and the Mt
please help as we do not know what to do
bethleham collage seems the best bet as we can then live any were and not worry about zoneing

We are hitting Tauranga in about 6 months time too.

I have been looking at Bethelehem College & Bethelehem Primary school. My kids are 8 & 10. I have put in an initial application form to Bethelehem College as there seem to be a waitlist ( no reply yet ) but have not full decided if my kids would go there or the Bethelehem Primary. Both school are good. For me, my 10 yrs old would have one more year in primary before going into intermediate and I don't really want to have her change school every year since we got here in Jan. But I have been told that all / most Bethelehem Primary school kids progress on to Otumoetai Intermediate which is also another good school.

Any advise from parents in the region is greatly appreciated.
