Update from Waiheke 3 months in

Hi All not been online for a while but heres the latest

Arrived on Waiheke Island 3 months ago its an absoutley stunning place beaches vinyards hills stunning

we are living in an beach side appartment on palm beach with a million dollar views

work is great settled in very well the guys made us very welcome and after 3 months i have passed my trial peroid and offereda a perminate position

the people on waiheke are so friendly everyone i have met have welcomed me to the island

my boss is brillent we go shooting,fishing,and a pleasure to work for

we eat freash snapper fish caught on the day looks like we are having scollops this weekend

food is great dont miss UK stuff but enjoying the bounty of New Zealand

money we are actually saving and living very well so ALL IN ALL THE BEST MOVE OF MY LIFE

no intentions of going back to the UK I have a new life here which I love

oh forgot to add I am a musician and now playing in a kiwi band one of the guys from work,and have a fantastic social life

all i can say is New Zealanders are the most friendlest people I have met made loads of friends in no time

So glad I made the move......so if your thinking of doing it go for it try it

you will never know unless you try

All i can so is you just have to get on with it, and enjoy!!

That is a great story! We stayed on waiheke for 3 days straight from the plane when we landed and we loved it! When we got on the ferry the man said "You coming to Waiheke? Sweet as..." And I just love that sign when you get off the ferry which says "slow down, you're here..." They should have one of those at the airport! Carry on having such a good time!

Waiheke is awesome - we came here to rent for a bit 9 years ago and never left !!!!!!Just love it on the island.....

i lived in wales for 14 years very simular here on the other end of the island sheep and rolling hills with vinyards

it will all be here for you whan you get here spring is in the air
