Flights booked - we're almost there

We have finally booked the dogs and our flights and will be arriving in NZ on 9th October. After ten years of thinking about it, we're finally doing it. Hotel booked for the first two nights, transport soon to be booked as well as dog friendly accommodation for a couple of nights after the girls arrive.

Just a few short weeks left in the UK now - it really is a bit frightening. It's strange how the whole process from starting to think about it seems to go on for years, then when you finally start the process, everything seems to go at 100mph! For anyone starting the process - be prepared - it suddenly hits you like a tonne of bricks!

Hope I'll be able to meet up with some of you in NZ in the very near future.

yes its funny that whole accelerated thing! goos luck with everything... it will all be worth it when you're on that plane with a glass of wine in hand, pondering which movie to watch!!.. and able to relax for the first time in ages!

Yes, I know what you mean about 100mph - at least once the visa is approved - and I have a whole month extra to prep!!

Thanks - we settled on £640 Cathay Pacific London to Auckland.

We're in the same boat, we fly out on the 3rd and things were really running at break neck pace for the last month, although they've have slowed now that the container has been packed up and ready to go (currently sitting at Belfast dock - or so I'm told). Now its just sell the cars and enjoy the numerous leaving do's then pack up and go!! saying that I'm not coping well with only two pairs of shoes and one handbag!!! what is a girl to do!!
