UK Birth Certificate number

Hi,

In preparation for my ITA application and checking the details... where do I find a number for UK Birth Certificate?

I have it with me... is it the serial number on the top right hand corner starting with letters followed by numbers (ZZZ xxxxxx)? Or would it be under NHS Number (ZZZZZ xxx)?

I put the serial number on,

although that was different on the copy entry I had and the 'new' full bith certicicate that I got between ITA and EOI.

As you're providing a copy at ITA stage so they can see both then I can't see that it's all that much of an issue what you put in there.

That's what I thought.


I had the small format of the birth certificate and used the serial number for the EOI.


Then when I ordered a full certificate, the serial number was different.

Would I need to alter it on the form or leave it?

I changed it in the bit at the end for ammendments.
