Default would you recommend your UK-NZ mover?

Apologies - ignore my previous attempt I missed of Allied Pickfords!!

Seems people have had lots of different experiences with containers.
It's just your experience that counts.

Polls have been done before on ENZ but they are now a couple of years old -and not easy to compare between who would recommend and who wouldn't.

So here is a chance to update - your contribution appreciated

Any comments welcome -particular if you used a mover not listed!

It'll help us decide who to use -and hopefully be of use to others making the move.

For the NZ end, you should add The Moving Company.

We had an AWFUL time with them and many others as well.

As I've said before on these kind of posts - the company's reputation is usually decided based on the quality of the packing. Some company's even sub this out to other smaller companies who have poor experience of packing for overseas moves and many things get damaged or broken in the move.

I had a great experience with PSS (Essex team of packers) and their NZ counterparts - NZ Van Lines (Wellington), but others have not had such good experiences

Clark and Rose excellent in the UK and would definitely recommend.
Transworld NZ - excellent with the actual physical moving but quite keen to extract as much extra money from us as possible, we were helped to avoid this by Clark and Rose.

Thank you for sharing this. I've got an offer from them and they came cheaper than Crown and Allied (Romanian branch).
There is still no time pressure for me and I will gladly take any advice from you guys between these last two (they are playing "the final" for me).

MBK - thank you for this pool, very helpful indeed for me (want to see more votes)

How about adding Excess International & The Moving Company - London to Wellington. Professional, reasonable price and hassle free...
