Default Auckland to Palmerston North--which airline

Apart from Air NZ which airline is good to travel to Palmerston North from Auckland. Baggage will be between 25-30kg (cheked). Anyone please?

We do this once/twice a month, with Air NZ. Is anyone else flying that route?Prices vary depending on time of day.

Air New Zealand is the only airline that flies that route.

I suppose train journey will be over 5-6 hours, so no choice.

Apparently the train journey is really beautiful- so if you can do it I recommend it. Other than that AirNZ is the only airline that flies into Palmerston north (unless things have recently changed).

The overlander takes 10 hours from Auckland, not sure if there is anything else?

You can always drive, about a 6 hour trip. I seem to be spending a lot of my time on SH 1 these days, and find it doable, but quite boring.

The Overlander's 12 hours from Auckland to Wellington - we did it on Saturday.

hmm seems air NZ is only choice since I am not a fan of over 4 hours train journey and driving alone is so boring.

It sounds as if you have a problem with Air NZ?
